Default Carlisle All Ford nationals June 6-8

So I take the three hour ride to Carlisle all Ford nationals in PA hoping to see some early - late 80's Mustangs and I was actually very disappointed. I was talking to a guy about his turbo coupe and I hear sirens. I figured someone else got heat stroke since it was 102 and I turn around and what do I see...a GSP SSP. My heart stopped as I've never seen one in person (I'm not very well traveled). I must have taken 50 pictures of it..here's three.

It was a woman, she had a shotgun mounted on the dash and it looked to be perfect.

That would be Lisa- Mustang Crazy here on the site. The FHP that was there on Saturday also belongs to her. I got a chance to meet and talk with her for a bit. The GSP car is really really sharp and the FHP was not bad either- just a little behind the other in the project timeline.

They were the only two SSPs in attendance. I had expected to see more than that. East coast guys- We need to get it together for next year.

biggee72--Sorry you didn't see any early late 80's mustangs at Carlisle. The pictures you took were when I escorted Jon Runyan of the Philadelphia Eagles to his autograph session on Saturday.

Matt, it was nice meeting and talking to you at Carlisle. Hope you had a great time there.

Well for what it's worth, your car made the whole trip worth it for me!

I'm glad my GSP made your trip worth it. Hope you had a great time at Carlisle. It's one of my favorite shows of the year.

Next year there might be another SSP... my '90 TX unrestored! My sister is moving just east of Carlisle and she is already expecting my visit!
