Default 1992 Michigan State Police SSP

Since we have picked up another 1992 MSP SSP, we have decided to part with the 1992 MSP SSP project we purchased from 5pt0Joe in August 2013. The car has changed very little since Joe owned it. Joe had purchased it from another .org member about two years before we acquired it from him. We had every intention to save this car, but with other projects going on and being able to pick up another MSP that will need far less to finish, we are going to pass this one on to another member. VIN is 1FACP40E0NF138465.

This is a project car, but is nearly complete. It was missing a fender and did not run when I got it. It now cranks and will idle, but currently does not, as there is no fuel tank installed. We removed the fuel tank when we got the car, blew out the fuel lines, then rigged up a new tank and sending unit to test it.

The bad, this is a project car. It does have some rust. Worst spot is in the driver's floorboard. Front windshield is cracked, quarter window trim is shot, no carpet, no exhaust, but is a very good original car to start with. Appears to have had a minor front passenger side collision at some point. Hood and passenger fender have been replaced and has an aftermarket front bumper. The remaining panels appear to be original. VIN labels are there, but have been painted over. I would be more than happy to use some paint thinner and see if I can clean them off if an interested party requests.

The good, Joe had boxed, organized, and labeled everything. Includes front and rear seats, dash, 160 certified speedo cluster, center console, seat belts, door panels (can still see where shotgun mount was on the driver's door), arm rest, etc.. I could not find one kick panel, but am still looking. Buck tags were removed to ensure they are not lost. Ignition and door locks use a single key, trunk lock was removed at some point.

Would like $4,200 for the car, as-is. Can assist with delivery. Am open to discussing possible trades as well. I will answer any and all questions the best I can. Located just outside Birmingham, AL.

Open to discussing reasonable offers, trades, etc. It's taking up garage space I'll need soon. Thank you.
