Yeah...saw a mention of "TEN" on the description, also. Somebody apparently doesn't read very well. The info about the unit number has been out there for awhile.

I never thought I would have so much antipathy towards a person but I was wrong. Passing along misinformation is his strong suit. Pompous Assclown

Greg's '93 is FHP 801 (if i'm not mistaken) which was on craigslist a little while back for 10k firm. I wanted it but the guy would not budge.

Just saw the latest comedic relief posted elsewhere. You guys are right....a car with a replacement engine, hacked up wiring, and holes in the seat is worth more than one with the original engine and in-service documentation; including pictures of the car in-service, which are posted on this site. I love it...this makes the second "restoration" sold with holes in the seat.

MAGM hits another lick...er...makes another sale I mean.

Mike,
i am starting to take insult with all this now and it really question all the work i did to the 91 fhp in question.

that was my car at one time and i collected all of the equipment for it and put the replacement motor in it and got it running alot better than it did. when it showed up at my house 2 years ago it was a turd that wouldn't even idle and well on its way to being hot rodded.
bruce who bought the car from me, also did a great job on the bodywork stripping the car down to bare metal and having everything repainted professionally.

isn't what this hobby is suppossed to be about bringing these cars back how they looked new?

does that mean unless someones has an all original ssp our restored ones are no good?
i looked at in person over the summer an "all original" 92 fhp #1794 and frankly with the dents, paint scratches and shoddy paint matching from its in service accidents i'd be embarrassed to take it to any show. thats not how i show my cars.

your beef with the seller aside, how many fhp cars have been for sale with the fhp correct lightbar, JSS controller, correct and working florida radar?
not to mention that spectra i had in that was fully functional and just needed hooked up? not to mention it had a few thousand dollars of NOS parts on it and a good bit of money spent on powdercoating to detail the motor.

i am not taking sides but hell when i owned it and was doing everything to it everyone on both sites bent over backwards helping me to find all the correct equipment, answering questions, telling me the motor powdercoating looked great etc and it would have turned out excactly the same way except i would have done more little detail stuff to it.

When I "restore" my cars I fix ripped seats. Guess my dedfinition is different. Yeh I know I am just a sour old jerk today. The comedy just never ceases to amaze me.

Russ,

Unless you are the person who hacked up the wiring, I wouldn't take offense.

I agree with you about fixing the cars up and making them look like new.

The car was purchased by the current seller, what, 2 months ago? Its being listed as "restored". My definition of that is apparently close to what Jim's is....this one isn't quite done yet.

Bottom line, I expressed my opinion about the two cars head to head. If that offends you, sorry. It is what it is.
