  3. 1986 1FABP26M5GF257534 (Utah car)
I did four-eye cars because they are not found as often as the aero cars.
If EF224519 comes back as an SSP I have the door tag for it. It was on ebay in Lake Devil Hill ND in 2014.

No new concrete info on the '82. However, after talking with Jim Y. and Bobby I decided to swing by the shop and see if I have any white overspray around the trunk/roof line, in the nooks and crannies. I never really paid much attention to that before, but thought it was worth a closer look.

Looking into those areas with a flashlight, I could plainly see white at the top and sides of the roof (where the molding is). I could also see where the car was painted with the moldings left on, as there is a tape line with black overspray on the molding.

I'm going to do a little wetsanding this weekend (never got to it last weekend, for those that knew). I'm going to hit the b-pillar at the paint break where the in-service pic of the car TX DPS is painted white. If it's the same car, it was repainted black before being sold. My car then received another black paint job a few years back. So, I'm hoping for 2 layers of black paint followed by some TX DPS white.

I'll post pics of the results when I have them.

Given the luck you've had finding Build Sheets, I am hopeful for what you will find... It would be awesome if your car shows signs of having been painted like the 1982 TxDPS test unit -

Two antennas on the back? That would give you a pretty definitive answer.

I only see one antenna...and it looks like a mag mount.

Ah, I see the other is a light. Your car also has rocker moldings like the pictured car.

Had a private paid-service with some of the State's earliest computerized records run it for me. No record found.

TX says the old hard copies cannot be located. I'm sure there's a box of 'em somewhere.
