Default Need WSP equipment help.

I have decided to start getting the correct equipment for my '86 WSP and have a few questions. I know that is a pa200 up top, but what about the radio below the custom WSP box? Does anyone have an idea where to find the custom fleet made box below the pa200 and the one in front of the shifter? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Default lightbar questions too

While most WSP's I have seen use Jetsonic lightbar. The only '86 WSP's (probably the same car) I have seen use the Code3 LP6000 bar.

The WSP radio is almost impossible to find, but Jim Y. can probably put you in touch with Marlin W., who may be able to help. I think the bottom piece of equipment is a CB, but that's just a guess. You'll probably have to fab up your own, repro switchbox.

Brian, see my reply over on .org. Talked with Marlin 2 weeks ago and he said the fleet surplus is long gone. They got rid of everything when they cleaned up. However, every now and then pieces surface so keep your eyes peeled. Also, I can keep an eye out locally in case I run into anything.

One of the local guys found two used LP6000 light bars that were supposedly WSP issue, but the going price was $225/ea. I may be wrong, but you can likely find a LP6000 in pretty nice shape for that money, no? If not, maybe we should snag 'em?

Brian, do you have the roll bar for your car? If not, I might know a guy who has one OEM for sale. I can check if you like.

I saw your reply on org. The roll bar was removed, let me know on the pricing. The shipping is probably the worst thing though. If it came down to it, my dad could fab one up. He built the chasssis for his drag car and a roll bar loop would be easy.

Yeah, shipping is a real pain (both heavy and awkward size). They should be pretty easy to fab up, and if needed, we can shoot a bunch of photos for reference if you like for the Setina configuration (i.e. mounting feet, etc.).

Will check if the guy I know still has it and will find out price.

The bottom one looks to be a motorola mocat 4022... It seems this was a very popular CB for ht e mid 80's. They can be found on eBay but go for some big $$$ for an old item. I saw one complete with manual and everything minus the box go for 365.00 a few weeks ago.

Good luck.
