hi thanks for looking at my posting

i have for sale my 1987 saleen mustang #45, of 278. i purchased this car from performance autosport in march 2002 with 57xx original miles and it currently has 26xxx original miles. this car has never had any modifications done to it with the exception of the koni shocks. the seals were bad due to lack of use and were replaced with bilsteins. only fluids have been changed, nothing else. that being said there have been other changes for the purpose of preservation. the radio/eq/speakers were removed, stored, and replaced with new components. the shifter knob received this same care. the car currently rides on 17" bullitt wheels to preserve the original rims and date coded (?) tires, both of which are out of production. they are in like new condition with no visible dry rot on the tires. below are items of note with respect to spaghetti westerns:

the good:
saleen jacket - given with purchase of new car
escort radar detector - included in sale, listed on window
sticker
window sticker - lists all modifications by saleen
1987 saleen brochure - hard to find item
patty redecker book on saleens
other extras
the bad:
small dent on hood - approx. 1" very shallow
door locks changed from chrome to black
drivers door repainted - due to break in through doorlocks
the ugly:
headliner needs replaced - typical of 80's cars
ac compreeor needs to be replaced
oh by the way this car has a factory sunroof and according to patty redecker's book on saleens there were only 6 built in 1987 with this option of which 2 are black.
price is firm no tire kickers
