Hot off the presses from the organizers of the Ripon show:

Morro Bay Police Department - First Annual Emergency Vehicle Show - Save the date, SATURDAY, APRIL 16TH

The Morro Bay Police Department will be holding their first annual emergency vehicle show on the above date. The show is open to all police, fire, emergency and special service vehicles. There will be awards for modern and vintage entries.

The show will be held in downtown Morro Bay on a closed street for our event. The location is close (walking distance) to plenty of restaurants, shopping, and the beach. We are working on discount lodging for the event. There will also be a "welcome" mini show in Morro Bay on the Friday evening before the show at a local restaurant.

Entry fees will be waived for agency owned vehicles.

If you'd like to RSVP now, please do so, and email Commander Millard below with your entry information. He will be sure that you receive a hard copy invitation.

Darryl has updated with the news that if you can, plan on arriving on Friday afternoon, as there will be a CODE 3 PARADE that evening from the Morro Bay High School to a local restaurant that is providing hospitality treats for the participants.
