Default 1988 MO Hwy Patrol for sale

Not my car, this is from St. Louis Mustangs forums. After looking at the pics, no doubt it's a MO car.

Yes, it does, if the mileage listed at 76,000 is accurate then that's a deal at only $2,200!

Weren't the automatics that MO had 87's?

If my memory serves me correct 88 was the first year the MSHP bought SSP's and I believe all of them were autos (at least ones I seen are). That was the last year the MSHP bought autos.

MO first bought Mustangs in 1988, they didn't have any 87's. All the 88's were autos but MO blew up the transmissions on almost all of them by 30,000 miles. So they bought manuals the other 3 years they bought Mustangs in 89, 90, and 93.
