recently bought nc ssp 88
 

resently bought a 88 ssp DSO # 22-0093 this car has been setting up since 02 iam the 3rd owner not sure of agent. car fax list first owner as NICB how can i get more imfo?

NICB is the National Insurance Crime Bureau. It's on all CARFAX. I saw that on my CARFAX for my '93 ssp and got excited. But it's really nothing. Try a title search. I found the last two owners, but that was a far as I got. Couldn't track down the owner previous to the one I bought mine from.

not for sure but my daughter had a problem with myspace a couple months ago. virus infected her PC and wiped it out overnight.

Nice lookin' car. A little elbow grease should have it lookin' pretty inside and out! That 's great that it still has its original wheels. The only original ten-hole mine had was for the spare tire.

I don't want to stir anything up and I hope I'm wrong, but it's got a 140 mph speedo and I just don't see the remote trunk release in the pics. Have you checked the buck tag yet?

from 1987-1989 the ssp had 140MPH units w/5 digit odometer as for the remote trunk release it's there not a good photo the buck tag is there also and it has the sticker in the glove box:)

I knew some had the 140, but I didn't see the trunk release. I'm glad I was wrong. Is your car white, or is it that pastel grey they use to offer? There is a PG vert right down the road from my house. I really love the not so common colors.

Greg - Congrats on winning :thumbsup:. Don't see these NCSHP ones very often...especially a retired Trooper selling all of their plates. I was wondering if you ended up winning. The lower the plate # the higher the rank so you can see by time he retired around 2004 his plate number in the 100's. I bid on the 89, 90 and 91 plates he had listed and ended up winning each of those. Turns out the 89 plate was used on one of the NCSHP Mustangs.
