wait just a second here......the ones i got from Suburban graphics didn't have boats
with sails in the harbor .......I think it had Jet ski's? and i am sure it had a guy with a metal
detector on the beach....but i will have to check when i get back to Idaho......:p
they look great Chris.!!!

ImEvil1 03-11-2007 04:49 PM

They do look pretty good, Chris. Are they on clear material like the originals?

BuzzHaze 05-20-2007 05:04 PM

They look great. Thanks for posting clear pics of the emblem. That's the first time I have ever seen all the detail.

Great site!!!! I'm very lucky to have found you. This site will be a HUGE part of my project. Thanks.

BuzzHaze 05-21-2007 06:46 PM

BTW Chris, I just emailed the folks at MSquad about the custom decals. I will let you know as soon as I hear back. I sure hope they can help me out.

Thanks again for this important information

I got mine in from M-Squad, custom made CHP decals. I LOVE THEM!!!! M-Squad is the best, they went through a lot of trouble doing these and getting them out to me in time for our final race weekend...power outages, shipping issues, customs and everything. What a great company.

Here's a few pics. (keep in mind, this is not a real SS mustang)

Sweet decals!! What did they run ya? Around $2-300?

BuzzHaze 09-06-2007 11:11 AM

Yes, pretty close. It was under $400 Canadian. Well worth the money to have authentic style decals. To have it done locally would have been cheaper but not near as nice. MSquad helped with the design, so they could have charged me more.

I fixed your door decal to sound more Canadian:p
yours Looks great? .....even if you don't use my idea?

I think they say "Ay" not "hey" up North.

Car looks great, what does it run in the 1/4?

Did you install them yourself? I brought my M Squad decals, all 340 dollars worth of them, to the body shop when I had my car repainted and had them put them on.The decals themself were perfect but when I picked it up the car they were all crooked and put on sloppy. I removed them and still have to order a new set. Problem is im selling my house right now and buying another one and money is tight. The car is garaged for now. :(

Rhino 09-06-2007 11:48 PM

Wow, that sucks Chris. Will they not refund you the cost of the decals for the sloppy application? :(

SparkSVT 09-07-2007 12:02 AM

didnt even get into it with him. I just want to stay away from him from now on. I figured I would just suck it up and buy new ones and have them installed right by a skilled shop and move on..:(

BuzzHaze 09-07-2007 12:03 AM

lol..It's "eh" but you guys are close enough. It's a shame about the decal install. I would have been pretty upset considering the time and money involved in getting them in hand.

I had mine done by a professional decal guy, an old pro. He does a lot of race cars and trailers so I have seen a ton of his work. He had a reference pic to work with. They came out perfect on both sides.

Jim Young's car for reference. Probably the best you can get.

jarhed123 09-07-2007 11:19 AM

Spray soapy water on the car and decals and put in place. Then, squeegee out the water and let the car sit in the sun to dry.
