New SSP For Me!
 

I was going to wait until I had it delivered, but I can't wait! I am the proud new owner of MOstang's (Mike Patterson) 1989 Minnesota State Patrol Mustang SSP. I should have it by the middle of April and I'll take some pictures of it then (I'm sure you have all seen Mike's photos of it). Thanks to all of Mike's hard work on researching the car and getting it equipped back to in-service shape. I'm very happy that Mike let me be the one to acquire the car. It will be fun to own and show it in the state where it served.

Bob - Congratulations and thank you! Very excited to have this one go back to Minnesota so another SSP can return home to Michigan. You'll provide a great new home for it and also be able to run down some loose ends being nearby some of the key contacts I've been able to make.

Mike (Mostang) does some mighty fine restorating on these vehicles. :)

Mike - I'm with you on liking the MN SSPs with this shade of blue....really does pop nicely with the color contrasts between the body/factory pin stripe/passenger door emblem. I just realized looking at the picture, the license plate matches that pin stripe too.

These came today and the SSP leaves Michigan tomorrow. Getting excited!

Mike, thanks for the pictures and all your help in making this a smooth transaction! I hope the damage to the Impala underneath the SSP didn't happen in transit.:eek:

I don't think so...he had a variety of cars on there in diff't conditions.

Mike, it has arrived (7:15 tonight) in the same condition it left you. Happy to have it back in its old stomping grounds!
