Lestek alternator?
 

the original alt on my 89 ssp seems not holding very strong as I'd like it to so I'm going to retire it as in ok-ok working unit, will PA alternator such as 200 amp would fit in easily in my ssp? since it will be equipped with lights and such later on.

when i drive it, it charges real good but when i stop, it powers down to barely charging like almost touching red bars of the gauge, i can't remember the numbers i think 12?

the lesteks were not the best alts but in the day they were better than the alternative, especially for a car with lots of electronics etc. you should be able to find several modern high output alts that will work.
