back at the crib !
18 hours in the gt 500 was a ******blast****** on the way home today. Like flying an F-18 while being in a dogfight with a bunch of cessna 172's. lol I met a great Sgt with LSP when I got off the 18 mile bridge near Baton Rouge. The guy flying the plane wanted him to have a chat with me.  so we talked about the car and how many months we both have left on the job and then a handshake and off I went. Nice guy in a freaking fast !! Tahoe.  Put the cruise on 83 for most of the trip, except for a couple of "breeze outs" on the open road in Alabama. The car still got an average of 21.4 mpg over the entire 2850 mile trip. I had a good time and am looking forward to the 50th in Vegas with all the west coasters !!
