I feel for the owners too Mike but those are actually Marcos' 85 and My '86 UHP currently residing in paint jail.

+1...I also feel like a Jail Break put from what I was told..."Bernie’s car will do painted today". Then again, we have heard that in the past.

I don't think Bernie is counting at all but he did mention something like 14 months, two weeks, 1 day, and 3 hours, 45 seconds. Might be just me but looks like he's not too worried.

Are you serious? I could see waiting around 4 months for a great paint job. But I would lose patience after that. It's not as if both of yours need major body work done.

The bad thing about most body shops, is all they want is insurance wrecks. So they can quote as much as they can and let the insurance pay for it. The customer don't care.

Well duh, "paint" jail is the subject...that's maddening too!

My car only served a six month sentence, just about what the shop owner predicted. I think it helped that I visited the place about 3 times a week to check on the progress.

TOO LONG but Jarhed's on the money on the length of time it's been locked up. If i didn't have to put it together I wouldn't mind too much, But after the car finally gets home I have to assemble the entire car.
