How does one get at the heater core on the 82?

do you have factory a/c? if you don't, then its as simple as dropping the glove box lid, taking out 2 bolts and sliding it out (of course after you take the hoses off also). if you do have factory a/c, then its not so simple. the dash will have to come out. well, not all the way out, just pulled out enough to get the box out. its not as bad as it seems, just time consuming at first. I've done 4 of them on the 4 eyed cars and just put one in my 86 a couple of months ago. only took about 4 hours that time. let me know what you have and I can try and guide you through the removal of your dash, if you have factory a/c. you don't have to remove every screw and bolt in it, I did my first time and it took a full day to do it.
