You will have to fit it over the pad a few times to look for high spots where the dash splits have raised up use a single edge razor blade to shave it off you know .....check twice (three times) install one time! it covers the old dash completely and rolls back into the outer edge so you see none of the old dash. the only way you would know it's hard plastic is by tapping on it. i have done this also just to annoy the lamisil monster that may be lurking underneath?
