These pics bring back memories... I remember working "security" at the state auction when I worked at the local SO in 1999 or 2000 just south of Starke, FL when they were auctioning off a bunch of state vehicles including FHP Mustangs. I wanted to buy one so bad but being a poor Deputy all I could do is watch the luck ones with money walk away with them. We had to watch these guys because they would "disable" the cars they wanted just so everyone would think they didn't run so they could get them for a good price. I just wish I had the money I do now back then....

No way! I can't believe anyone would be so dishonest to do something like that...

I had a person, (not a member here), that actually bragged to me about him and a friend disconnecting AC harnesses, or fuel pump harnesses (under the drivers seat) so they could buy the cars cheaper.

Zero integrity with these folks.

Yea, it was pretty pathetic. Especially the taxi cab companies from up north. Those guys were a bunch of clowns....
