I think we should have another 'barn party', but this time in your garage to throw a new clutch in it.

Unfortunately I don't have the "Garage-Mahal" like someone I know here (which is a whole other problem in its self) but I do like your thinking!

DO NOT SELL THAT CAR!

If it is costing you nothing to keep it, then keep it. I'm sure we have enough members in Florida that would help you get her back on the road. Trust me you let the car go and you will kick yourself in the arse for the rest of your days.

That's a catch 22 situation at this point so I might as well disclose the other factor behind my madness. I just took delivery of one of these yesterday with 4k miles on it...

(Stock photo of course) I "intend" to keep this as a collectable. I already heard the "You can't keep both" line if you know what I mean.

Both cars are really nice. Neat story behind your SSP and that interior is really something!

You will regret selling it. I owned 3 SSP's in my early 30's (hit the auction circuit a alot) and regretted getting rid of each one. I was incredibly lucky to pick up my current one at auction 9 years ago and it will be near impossble to get it out of my grip.

Your new T/A should be nice. If you can only have one "toy", would it be possible to fix the minor issues with the SSP and make it your daily driver again? [keep in mind, I am also the guy who has made our GT/CS the "family car". ] If you sold your current daily driver you could take any proceeds and apply it to repairing the SSP and maybe offset some of the cost on the T/A. That could be a very easy sell to resistant ears.
