It's neat, but I agree with what has already been said. The technology for these vehicles to truly function in a law enforcement role isn't here yet. That car would be good for admin purposes, but I doubt anything like that could be used for normal patrol work (which sometimes lasts longer than the planned 8, 10 or 12 hour shift, for example). I've never driven one of these, but aren't they a little lacking in the acceleration department?

electric powered cars in general are not necesarrily lacking in acceleration. Most electric motors used in cars are torque monsters. i don't know the performance specs of this car but like most have said, it aint gonna cut it for day-in, day-out use. Nice publicity piece, though.

The Majority will be in Arizona...... Also I am in need of a Three car transport to Black
Canyon City. and would appreciate any help in locating a reliable set up. here is the Craig's list ad i recently placed. http://boise.craigslist.org/aos/402341999.html The ideal situation would be to find someone that is going north with a load and is empty on the return. any help would be appreciated oh the 85ssp will someday be in AZ but it's on the list of the last group of cars. I hope the trip goes well and without any incident as far as anything hitting a car while on transport.
