Mick, do you want to divide the list of possible VINs and email them to me? It will get done twice as fast that way. We can divide it further if anyone else wants to run VINs to see if a pattern turns up.

None specifically, other than the groups I posted earlier. Of course the Maryland State Police could have purchased the cars under more than one DSO number, with smaller batches of VINs.

Clark came through as promised on his SC auction paperwork. There were 7 Mustangs auctioned that day:










Clark also included auction documentation that was specific for his own SSP, which I just added to his car's page:

Seeing the above auction information, I decided to contact the South Carolina Surplus Property Office to see if they had similar auction sheets for the same time period. Sadly, their records are not kept after 6 years. It was worth a shot...
