Good question. I asked that and got this response:
"The car is in southwestern Virginia - about an hour from Bristol, TN/VA"

Car is already going down the wrong road...owner should have taken the money wasted on the 5-lug wheel and brake set up and put it toward cleaning up the body and paint.

When I had it years back, the paint was horrible....and only getting worse. The cheap respray was not helpful. Had a tranny quirk in 3rd gear (keeping it in gear was a chore) - so glad to see it got a new tranny at least.

Danny was thinking of turning it into a racer, but opted not to. Just put on some go fast/fun parts. Could probably be brought back fairly easily.

Of note...I believe the buck tags are missing up front. Somewhere along the way they came off the car after I had sold it.

Cool to see her again. Hope it goes to a nice home.

Going down the wrong road.....kinda like that saying...I never understood putting brand new shiny wheels and tires on a crappy looking car, but, I guess to each it's own, or something like that...
