Are you sure it's 46.5? I think the 48" light bar actually measure 47.3 or so. Several of the states used this type light bar on the SSP, although most had the speaker housing in the center.

You can get around the ebay colored lens thing, take a black and white photo and don't mention the color of the lens in the ad.

Is this a chain driven model?

I just measured 2 48" jetstrobe bars I have and the top ends do measure 46.5, the curvature of the clear cover actually extends further to make the total length of 47.3.

UP-DATE!
As some of you know i was at an auction recently and
picked up a federal signal light bar because it was
Mustang size and i won the bid (not much money)
and after i got it home checked it out and cleaned it up
I was wondering how much fun it would be to be at
a car show with the 65 and the 85 side by side So
I decided to install it on the Fast Back and i really
like how it turned out. I have to tell you i am so tired
of people asking me Why the CHP car does not have
a light bar but Now at least one of my Mustang's do!

April 1 Three days in the past as of this writing
Going on Four......
I have given this allot a thought and have come to the realization
that i spend way too much time on this site.
when things on this site slow a bit i try to add something.
Tech related or funny stuff (Mustang and or SSP Mustang) related.
What i am saying here is my efforts would be better spent on
something else or somewhere else.
Some people post the same information (text and pictures)
on multiple ssp sites, but i have opted to remain loyal to this one.
If you hadn't noticed.... my post above this one was posted on
April. One....yes humor (imagine that)
At this time i would like to thank the Admin. and Moderator's
and i wish you and everyone here all the best!
