Well couldn't pass it up so I bought another one... 1992 FHP #1140 got a copy of original title issued 06/11/92 with 3 miles on odometer on 5/12/92. has FHP 1140 writen on top also has anothe letter (possible P or F then 115) not sure what that is? selling info list $4100 selling price on 8/2/97.old by Greg Wood Equipment Disp. Spec. State of Florida. First owner DHSMV Tallahasee. Also got "Severe Duty Service Recommmendations" brochure and owners manual. Still has dome light; spotlight wire ( about a foot in length running out of dash); and DHSMV decal in glove box. Bad news is for the purist; in 2003 motor was stroked to 331 with lots of bolt ons. Car runs and drives really good. It's painted solid black,no ventshades. It also has the gray interior instead of tan. I think this is gonna be my new daily driver! DSO is 24 0080. Build date is 03/26. Consecutive # is 135327.

Congrats on the purchase. The 115 written on the title is the lot number it sold at auction with. If you look at the "Spotlight" section here, you will see FHP 1187, which was lot #100.

PS...Greg Wood, a state of FL employee who managed the surplus vehicle sales, was indicted for stealing money from the state and accepting bribes from the auction company. He was not a dealer.

My 1991 is also from Troop F. I bet they were there at the same time. :)

The title numbers for your FHP-1140 and my FHP-1396 are consecutive.
Mine was Troop F as well.
