They could have stripped the paint off. The only '87-'89 AZ shot in the gallery shows black wheels. http://www.specialservicemustang.net...ges/AZ/AZ2.jpg
I'm trying to think if there were any '87-'89 AZ ssp's in the Real Stories dvds. Worth checking into.

Just about everybody blacks them out no matter what the year.
