Thank you very much, Marcos! Being a man with limited means, I knew powdercoating them was out of the question for now. It took about $12 worth of primer/paint and several hours with the sandblaster to prep & paint all six wheels (I have a spare spare now!). The sandblaster was gentle enough to not score the tires, so they didn't need to be removed from the wheels prior to prep/paint. I used painters masking tape to cover the tires during the painting. Afterwards, I had the wheel weights placed on the inside of the rims for a clean outer appearance.

Here's a larger view of my sig photo with the freshly painted wheels (although I hadn't cleaned the tires while waiting for the paint to cure).
