That's what i meant when I said I didin't know how to sew. The vinyl had been damaged on my car so I needed new ones(POCKETS). If they had just been sagging I could have just changed the elastic and been done with it. It's just stapled in.

I knew what you meant...I don't think Andy knew that your pockets needed to be replaced.

That's pretty impressive. Mine are shot, too but in a way it kind of gives off the "wear" look that goes with a police car.
But if I had a choice, I'd get them redone. I've just never trusted anyone around my car for any length of time - even if I am present.

I had a new windshield installed last October and I stayed while they changed it out. I made sure they understood this was a SHOW CAR and very fragile and to be very careful. But of course, even with my standing there one of the hired hands didn't put my spotlight back in place and opened my door and the spotlight caught on the door and chipped the paint.
People just don't understand.
They offered to fix it but I didn't have the patients or time and I just didn't want the hassle! GEEZ!

I damn sure will never recommend them to anyone!
STAY AWAY from Glass Technology in Lufkin, Texas!!!

Talking Map Pockets

I've seen recently that Latemodel Restoration Supply now offers replacement map pockets.
