It's difficult to make out the data in the fuzzy photo of the door sticker. It appears to be: "M" for the axle ratio of 2:73 and "T" for the transmission being a "AOD". Things have definitely been "Changed" from "Original". Buyer Beware.

Default postal car

He did not pay anything near what he is asking. He tried to buy all of them when they became available and got this one. He put the 5 sp. in the car and I think he ruined the value. If he gets this price he will be making in excess of five grand iMO.

I sent the seller (a dealer) an email asking him who changed out the transmission. Here is his response.

Hi,

My shop professionally converted the car over to a 5 speed. Rebuilt 5 transmission, brand new LUK flywheel and factory ford replacement Valeo clutch. Everything was done to original factory Ford specs.

Thanks,

Josh

I emailed him back and told him his for sale ad was a purposeful misrepresentation, and he devalued the car by putting in a five speed. No integrity in sight on this one guys. At least he admitted it but he was probably hoping we couldn't make out the door tag with the trans code on it.

buyer beware !!

Default USPS SSp's

I own the two cars Aaron once owned. The last three of the VIN on the cars he owned was 614 and 617, both silver cars with gray interiors. I also bought car 623 when it came out of service in November. It is black with gray interior. I am told the USPS had a total of 6 cars - all automatics.

As far as colors went there was 3 Black, 2 silver, and 1 blue car.

One black and one blue car is still listed for sale at Elegant Imports in LA. They have the highest milage - around 159K. Although the miles are high the Post Office does mantain their vehicle well.
