thanks Bill and it's always great to know us "nutjobs" think alike on some issues. I think the post is right on target. It is not specifically targeting an individual, but it does target a group of individuals that buy cars, then sell them at inflated prices. Besides all the issues about misrepresentation, and "looking for sympathy" tactics that some sellers use, the real bottom line is always about making money, or having a tax write off for your business etc.

I had a conversation with a member last night who told me they wanted to buy a car a couple of months ago and couldn't get the money together quick enough. The car sold and then two weeks later it was listed on EBAY for 4k more. That car will now languish in "flipperville" until the new owner comes to their senses. There isn't anything we can do about it so the best thing to do is just forget and ignore the car. regardless of the hobby, these types of "members" will continue to contribute negatively. It is what it is.

that said.... I need to get back to the sand blaster. The TXDPS car has a date with the painter in the near future.
