Yes....and it has a Ford part number on it (per a previous owner).

No...it was an email exchange from a few years back.

My vote is that it was installed when the car was outfitted at CSP. If you want to bring it to the 75th Anniversary CSP show this September, you might be able to find out more. Of course, you might have to make some cosmetic changes to the car before doing that.

My '83 does not have the switch in the trunk and never did. I do have the factory radio delete on my car. The "throttle control" mentioned elsewhere doesn't exist and never did.

I have not checked for the switch but will as soon as I get over to the barn. I also have the radio delete option in my CSP.

I could legally mount my Stag Arms/Rock River Arms AR-15 (6.8 SPC) there, but it might freak out the anti-gun types at car shows.
