I guess I'm not following.
My point was you could not get a 5.0L with anything but a manual trans in '82 and '83. This car is one of 1,210 5.0L coupes made in '83, and one of fifty consecutive 5.0L coupe VINs (205020 through 205069).

I think it is odd that the seller is claiming salvage title due to it not running. It does look like it has sat in a salvage yard for 20 years.
Regardless IMO it is a 600.00 car......maybe. Depending on how rusty the subframe, shock towers, and floorpans are.

I think you're right Jim...it would be fun, though, to see one of these 1983 NCSHP SSP's returned to in-service condition.

looking at the pics the headlights are, or have been filled with water. seller says he has 350 more mustangs including 4 more "police cars". Maybe the seller owns a salvage yard?
