That is a Motorola car phone trunk unit. That basically is the second to the last design of the trunk units. The RJ45 jack was for the handset, the 25 pin connector was for power and the handsfree speaker and mic, and the mini UHF connector obviously for the antenna. They were used up until the end of analog cell service. I am not sure if the serial number decodes the same way as radios, but if it does, it was made January 1991.
