Yes, in the blue one Robert has a standard roll bar. In the red one he has a full partition/cage. A few years back we found 2 NOS setups from some guy that used to work for Setina. Robert put one in his car, and I have one for my 87 WSP (which had one originally). They are unique, and rare. But...makes driving very weird. Like driving in a phone booth. Troopers used to call these car setups: "rolling coffins" - cause if you ever got sideswiped, it would be your coffin.

It's time to bump this thread 4.5 years later. The car was subsequently sold by Ryan to Buddy, who sold it earlier in 2015 to a "museum" in Florida that tried to flip the car for serious coin. Eventually, the seller listed it on eBay without a reserve, and the car was sold for a fair price.
The car will be headed up the East Coast to its new home - my place! I will update this thread as the improvements are made to the car.

Congrats, Bill! So glad you ended up with the car - and - on to the next chapter for it's history.

![]() As an aside, I worked out a deal with the museum for the radio equipment that Rhino had with the car. All of it will be shipped with the magnets that they forgot to put into the car when it was shipped. |

Documentation was included in the purchase, and the museum put it all in the car when it was shipped. Bobby snapped this photo of a picture of a red traffic unit. There may be no way to confirm this photo as being my car but it does show some interesting details on how this car was marked. The scroll under the molding is fairly clear, and there is no unit number or SHERIFF marking on the front fender. It is my understanding that the PCSD would change the markings somewhat on the cars while they had them, and it could be that not all cars were consistently marked the same way.

very nice Bill. Glad it made it safely and the deal went through. That is going to be a great addition to the MCA show at Niagra next year right?????

Do you have any shots of the cage/partition set-ups? I'd love to see that. |

I no longer have any photos of the setup as it went with the car to a new owner. You could likely Google search the internet for PCSD Mustang or Pierce County Sheriff Mustang to see if any pics come up. Folks used to take photos of the setup every time one of the cars would go out to a show. So I bet there are some pics floating around out there somewhere. Best, Ryan
