That is a project. So what's on the agenda for this car?

I will have to do some further investigating to see if it's fixable and if so, I'm gonna attempt to restore it. I've been looking for a car with these particular options for awhile now. Until I can find another one, this is it.

I think enough of us here could come up with the parts to help in the resto. It would be neat if that motor would fire up after all of these years. Could you read the tag on the door janm to get the Unit # ?

Unfortunately there is only a small remnants of the unit number. It looks to have literally baked off from the sun. If the doors had not been removed, it would have survived.

I'm very glad you pulled it out of there Ted, pretty neat to see one in such original form. I'm really impressed you found so much original equipment laying around in it as well! That is super cool! Keep us updated with pictures, and whatever you find. I hope you decide to restore it, but I bet there would be someone here willing to take on the project even if you don't.

Man, that is awesome
![]() I would love to restore something like that. I would say that is just as bad as my 84 GT. Don't be worried about the whole inner front clip, cause you can find a clip off a standard coupe and have a frame shop straighten everything and put the new clip on. That's what I have to do with my 84. Can't wait to see more pics/progress ![]() |
