Thanks guys. I'm glad I can help the community

Tonight I will post a Maintenance Instruction Chart and a Motor Transport Bulletin about the 82 Mustangs Vehicle Higlights

And if I'm correct, 0600 is the known hatchback. Is that the cars actual unit #?

Wow is right, such tasty stuff! Very historical documents...puts you right back into the day and gives great perpective of and insights to the beginnings of the SSP program/CHP experience and some for the police vehicle situation of the era as a whole.

Many thanks Sam, this documention is 24 carat GOLD.

Your car had
Major Diff fail at 40103miles on 10-5-83 at area office 420
Major Trans fail at 77500miles on 7-6-84

I don't have paperwork on specific cars, just a list of cars that had problems

CHP area office 420, c'mon now, I guess that means I need to go roll one for the car, and it is CA. Seriously though, Bakersfield, I think?
Thanks Sam, that is the first indication that I have had where the car worked.

Out if curiosity, do you have any docs from the '70?

I really wish my dads had had a problem, cause then we could have found out where it served too.

And yes my dad has the 70s documents He will have to find them though

Yep, Bakersfield. Same office as mine, right there at 4040 Buck Owens Blvd.
