my first new takehome was GPD 2087, a 1996. Tan interior, all new equipment, even the cage. The thing about the 96 and 97s was when you were WOT and the tranny shifted, the car JUMPED forward into the next gear. It was a beast, especially compared to the 160 horse 5.0 1991 CV I had before. Don't get me wrong, I loved the 91 also, but the 96 was far more potent. Even the 97 P71 I have as a driver shifts the same. My 05 P71 is strong and fast, but not the same.
