As of this morning the Deputy is on a ventilator and non-responsive. Officers from all over have been going to the hospital by the handful and there is a blood drive that is very successful. I feel terrible that I can't donate blood because of all the F-up places I have been to while in the Corps. His parents and wife and child are really an emotional mess right now.
The suspect was tuned up by the Hollywood Officers who caught him. He is a 23yr old with a past for CCW, Grand Theft Auto, Marijuana, Traffic, and Obstruction W/O violence. The motorcycle he was ridding was not stolen, tag was good, his DL was good and he had no warrants. I can’t go into some of the things because it is an on-going investigation but I was very upset to here what he was yelling out as he was shooting and I am sure every former or current military person here would also be upset!!!
