Thank you for the welcomes. I haven't had any contact with Dale since our first meeting in March. However, I will look him up to see if there's any in service photos of SSPs with the LAUSD avaible. Unfortunately or Fortunately, I did not get any documentation from Phil with exception of the certificate title that reflected "Prior Police" in the vehicle history. During completion of the sale, Phile said, " You will find many interesting things about the CHP cars as you get more and more wrapped up into research". Maybe that was his intention, to allow me the pleasure in the research and learning more about these unique mustangs for myself. I am pleased to start the research from the Unit # starting point. Quote comes to mind, it's the journey, not the distination that lessons and joys are gained.....
