Hmm, black moldings on a '93? I thought they were all body color then.

Duh! After I went to bed that occurred to me. My car was black and white! Of course black! But what about the doors?

Did B&W CHPs ever have molding on the doors?

I believe that the moldings were shipped loose in the trunk of the car when they were delivered.

Default 1992 Molding code

My DSO number is 21 0517. What does the 0517 stand for? Thanks Tony

Since moldings were body color that year and your car had a regular production color (EL Wild Strawberry Metallic), I would imagine that the "I" Mldg code on the door tag means Wild Strawberry, or something similar. I have seen one other door with the same Mldg code, and that was also a '92 painted EL (Pennsylvania State Police NF109533).

A DSO number of 0517 means it was special order # 0517 for that model year.
