no, i didnt go with the hid. Originally I almost ordered a totally base GT, NO options at all. The problem is that if you don't order the IUP then you get only 4 gages. You have to get the IUP for the 6 gage cluster. Then I thought better tunes would be good-hence the Shaker 500, and the pimpin' ambient lights were relatively cheap and cool. My buddy just took delivery of his 08 GT500 convert with the ambient lights and they are really cool, def. worth the 295 bucks sticker price.
