All this paperwork was in the trunk of 84 when I bought it too, very happy to see all the paperwork still with car after all these years. The guy I bought it from said he got it from the dealer that bought it at auction. Near as I can tell it was out of service by Aug. 87 with less then 88k on it(has124k now) A Shell station from his home town done an LOF and wrote it in the owners manual. If you are interested in better pictures of paperwork Mike or anyone, send me a PM and see what I got, hate to hog up forum space.

The wrecked 85 Was the yard owners aunt's that she bought from her boyfriend ( a Sheriff Deputy) who bought it from Oregon auction. That one going by the buck tag saying Oregon and vin's matched and also has same ant. mount holes and the hole above rr 1/4 window for light wiring.

Good info, Mark...thanks for posting it up.
So, if I am reading this correctly, and I might not be because I'm tired, we've got pics of '85 tags posted, from non-special paint cars, with both the regular and smaller size DSO tags.
