Very nice Bob! And I like the "move" too. "Honey...I would have consulted with you but you were in an airplane and something this rare would have gone to someone else if I had waited any longer to make the deal. I really wanted to talk with you first, but it just wasn't possible. "

After I go get the 10-holes from the cabin tomorrow and replace the Ponys, I will be bringing it out from hiding (it now resides down the street with the other SSP, but the home owners are coming back from FL next Wednesday for 10 days and they will need the space my second SSP is now using, for their rental car). My plan is to tell her I got it out of storage to do some work on it, and hopefully when she sees it she'll think it's the same "old hunk of metal appliance" that she has seen me working on since last April. Eventually I'll probably get caught, but hopefully by then I'll have sold enough car parts to offset the cost of the second SSP. We have an agreement that if I want to buy something (car related) that I have to liquidate stuff I already have to pay for it. Who thinks I can pull this off, and who needs some steel wheel argent center caps?

Women are crazy. When she finds out you have it you'll be in the dog house for lying. She'll say you lied by ommission for not telling her you bought it. You better just tell her.

I'm lucky. My wife in an enabler to my automotive addiction. Any time I suggest buying a vehicle she'll all for it. Even if it's just a rolling shell.

Lucky man! I show up with a rolling shell and get told that's not staying in the driveway! Good thing I have the annex building down town!

Bob, I'll be enabling your plight shortly! Your secret is safe with me!

The cat is out of the bag. I've worked on the car in my garage the past 2 days and neither my Daughter (Mustang nut @ 12) or my wife (cars are appliances believer) noticed it was not the same car. Our cat did notice today, as my wife told me when I got home from lunch with my brother (a car guy, who also did not notice that he was riding in a different car until I pointed out the absence of equipment that he had seen the last time he rode with me) that the cat was scared of the exhaust noise as I pulled into the garage. She said nothing about it being nosier than before, just that it scared the cat, so I let it go. I'm sure I could of gotten away with the deception until next April when I would of had to get both of them out of the neighbor's garage. After a couple of hours I decided to reveal the ruse to my wife (honesty is the best policy in a marriage). I put a good spin on the situation by telling her about how I had sold my GSP SSP clone for "X" dollars and the total cost of the 2 MN SSPs added up to the same "X" dollars. I told her I did not tell her earlier because she was stressed about having just spent 12 days away from home moving her Mother back here from Portland. The icing on the cake was the appraisal I got done yesterday on the car showing that it was going to be insured for over 3 times what I paid for it. My stable is now full and I won't be in the market for any more Mustangs (at least not in this life). Now off to deal with the cat that almost blew it for me!

I thought of you when I saw this:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Sho-Me-Fog-L...item3a6c98d39f

They are Sho-Me No-Sho's, and they look like they're red.

Thanks, but I already have a set on the "after" MN SSP and the "before" MN SSP is going to be sans equipment. Would be nice to have a backup though.
