I set our flag inside the front door last night so I'd remember to put it out as soon as I came downstairs this morning.

I have one flying (all the time) fron flag pole at half mast.
One hanging from back deck railing and two stuck in front yard. I defy any A$$h--E giving me any crap about my flags. Been so long since I have flown one vertically, I had to check Flag Edicate on Google to see the proper positiom for the stars (union part) They said, to left as being viewed by the public. Again GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!! |

Yes, it seems backwards to some, but the stars go in the top left corner whether horizontal or vertical. Thanks for doing your homework, Ray.
I was on a road trip a few years back and stopped at a rest stop. I paused to watch as the state worker was raising the American flag and noticed something critical...it was upside down. I ran over and brought it to his attention and together, we corrected the matter and raised her correctly. I flew mine today in my front yard until time to leave for work. No light, so I didn't want to leave Old Glory in the dark. Another big no no. God Bless America!!
