Oh, I know. Just saying that they sure look chrome in most all of the in-service photos I've found. You've got them in-hand, so I can't argue.
We've already discovered two different shades of tan for the package trays. Is it not possible that some '82s got different hub caps? Since what came on my car when I bought it are the Pinto hubcaps, that's what I've got to go with for now. If I could replicate the appropriate finish, that would be fine with me. I'll be on the look out for the correct ones and will appreciate any leads.
