Going by what several retired troopers described to me, I made it .I transferred all the holes from the dash to the plate so the dash stayed original. I have the drawings for it somewhere and can email them to you if I can find it. I'll put your name on it if I go that route. I hated to let the car go but we just have too many things going right now trying to maintain 2 places and traveling back and forth. We are down sizing and trying to make life more simple if thats possible.

That would be great Bud. Let me know. I hope the car gets back into the hands of an enthusiast.

it looks good to me, but, I'm too ignorant on these cars to fully know if it's a nice "beginer home" in my search for a nice solid SSP. I just want one to tool around town in, but, don't know if I can with the current color scheme? Thats kind of what scares me about getting one of these SSPs, all of the rules about what you can sport and what you can't. Paint schemes, badges, etc. I guess I could always ask my sister, a 30 year retired MD Trooper, she would definitely set me straight, as she always has...thanks guy, appreciate your patience as I learn about these cars. I like this one, I must admit, but, don't want my first purchase to be a big mistake! or regret.
