Welding is done on the brackets! Hopefully I can pick them up today and post pics when I get the lights attached...Going to look at some grey seats from an 86 notch. I hope they are in good shape..

Bill, the style bracket you have for the blue light is not typical of what was used in the Mustangs. Note the one in my car and check out all the in-service photos here and in my fotki album to compare:

Thanks for pointing that out. I need to fix the resto doc as well. Looks like Bill got the same bracket that I did from Mr. Read. My amber/red bracket lined up perfectly into the existing holes in my '82, but I missed the difference in the other brackets.

Not sure what vehicle that incorrect bracket belongs on, probably some full size sedan. Luckily, the Mustang bracket would be simple to fabricate if need be.

Today, I test fit mine in the rear window. I still have some things to finish, but they turned out decent. They left some of the original bolts and star washers under the seat. 12-02-10 019.JPG They should look better when I remove the 80's purple tint.
