Default Wife's Mustang is 6" shorter!

On Wednesday night, Debbie was sitting at a traffic light in our 2005 Mustang and a 17yo kid driving 2004 Jeep Wrangler (w/ 3" lift and off-road bumper) rear-ended her. At first she seemed fine, while waiting for the cops. I got to the scene, and about 10 minutes later her neck and back started hurting, and her head started aching and she thought she was gonna vomit. So I called 911 again and requested an ambulance. They did X-rays at the ER (in & out in less than 2 hours!) which were OK, but her whiplash is limited to her neck and upper back.

Both of the kid's parents showed up before Debbie was hauled off. The kid told his Mom at the scene that he only looked down at his phone for a second! This was the result -

I'll be taking it in for an estimate this afternoon. I had been planning to drive that car yesterday to Thompson Dragway (near Cleveland) to meet up at a private track rental with about 35 other S197 Mustang owners that I know from another forum. I figured I'd better stick around here instead. Debbie took yesterday off, but she's back in the classroom today - she's sore. She sees our family doctor on Monday (they want her to wait and settle down while taking the Rx's the ER prescribed). Debbie is expecting to be going to physical therapy for some time. Glad it wasn't any worse.
